Shihan Gary Reburn A senior member of The Phoenix Karatedo Association, Shihandai Reburn serves on the Executive Council of the Association, is the Deputy Chairman of the Association, is the Maryland Branch Chief, and holds the position of Chief of the Promotion Board. As chief, he helps to oversee the advancement of the Association's kohai and recommends yudansha for promotion. A kumite and tameshiwari proponent and champion, Reburn served as the Vice President of the Mount Saint Mary's College Karatedo Club in Maryland. Reburn attained the rank of godan in July 1999. Shihandai Reburn is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College, where he also excelled in collegiate golf and lacrosse. He is the owner and Chief Instructor of the Frederick and Rockville dojos, teaching in both the adult and children's programs. He also teaches the Fitness Force classes in Maryland.
