Sempai David Greber

Sempai Greber joined the Phoenix Karate Association in October 2001, and is now one of the Chief Instructors of the Frederick Dojo. He began his study of Kyokushin karate in Connecticut under Shihan Raymond Martens, and continued his training under Sensei Kurt Schindler while living in Munich, Germany. He was first certified to teach karate as a brown belt by former All-Japan Champion Shihan Shigeru Oyama.

Sempai Greber is happily married to Lynne Greber, and is the proud father of Lauren and Elizabeth Greber. He is a member of Grace Brethren Church, where he teaches high school Sunday school. He is also senior partner in the Frederick law firm of Greber & Burgoon, P.C., and concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and intellectual property law, and federal civil litigation. Sempai Greber is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. English, with distinction). He completed his graduate studies at Northwestern University (J.D., M.B.A.), where he was on the Editorial Board of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.
